Nats Rally Past the Reds

The Nats beat the visiting Reds 5-4 on Saturday night for their second straight win. Mark & Al discuss the comeback that was capped by Jacob Young's RBI single in the bottom of the 8th to break the tie. Washington won despite difficult circumstances as the bullpen was needed from the 3rd inning onward.

(09:00) Harold Ramirez hit his first homer as a National in the bottom of the 1st. Ramirez had a dozen home runs last season with Tampa Bay.

(18:00) James Wood was dropped in the lineup into the 7th spot and responded with an 0 for 4 evening and committed and error. Trey Lipscomb is really struggling himself as he went hit-less on Saturday. His OPS is a very low .540 this season in the majors.

(21:00) MacKenzie Gore was bad for the 3rd consecutive outing. Gore only lasted two innings and needed 48 pitches to get out of the opening frame. Is Gore the next Gio Gonzalez in terms of high pitch counts?

(30:00) An update on Cade Cavalli and what is next for him in his rehab.
